Whether you’re an experienced tobogganer or it’s your first time on a sled – the variety of toboggan runs leaves nothing to be desired. In the region, you’ll find gentle slopes for beginners and families, as well as fast tracks for adrenaline junkies. Many of the toboggan runs are well-prepared and offer fantastic views of the snow-covered Tyrolean mountains.
A special highlight: night tobogganing
A unique experience is night tobogganing. Some runs in the area are lit, giving you the opportunity to zoom down the piste even after dark. Wrapped up warm and accompanied by twinkling lights, tobogganing under the starry sky becomes an unforgettable winter adventure.
Direttissima Toboggan Run and Timoks Coaster in Fieberbrunn
In the center of Fieberbrunn, there is a particularly beautiful toboggan run: Direttissima in the Rosenegg district, which is illuminated daily until 10:00 PM, making it perfect for evening use as well. Before the toboggan fun, though, it’s time to “head up the mountain” – either a 1.5-hour hike or a taxi ride, and then a super-fast ride on a free sled down the illuminated toboggan run to the valley. Another highlight is Timoks Coaster, a spectacular alpine roller coaster that operates year-round. In winter, you can even ride for free and enjoy the thrilling fun.

Hochfilzen Toboggan Run
A comfortable way to conquer the mountain is by Skidoo, which can pick you up and take you to the "Hoametzlhütte". You also have the option to combine an evening of tobogganing with a traditional hut meal. This toboggan run is also romantically lit until late at night.
St. Jakob in Haus Toboggan Run
In St. Jakob in Haus, a 1 km long toboggan run awaits you, where the ascent begins at the Kröpfl-Liftstadl. The walk takes about 1 hour.
Waidring Toboggan Run
A 2 km long route can be found in Waidring/Oberweissbach. From Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 4:00 PM, you can take the toboggan shuttle to Gasthof Oberweissbach.
Tube Toboggan Run in Waidring
At Hotel Brandtnerhof in Strub (Waidring), there is a special highlight – a specially prepared track for tubing, where you can race down on an inflatable tube. The toboggan run is not very long but perfect for multiple rides! This track is also lit until 9:00 PM.

Remember to wear sturdy shoes and warm clothing – so you’ll be well-prepared for the descent. Many toboggan runs also offer sled rentals on-site, so you don’t have to worry about equipment.
