Lakes and Swimming Pools in the PillerseeTal and the Kitzbüheler Alps
Swimming Opportunities in Fieberbrunn
In the area around our holiday village Wallenburg in Fieberbrunn, there are various opportunities for swimming to refresh yourself.
Swimming provides a welcome cool down during the warm summer months and is especially popular with children. Our heated pool (with cover in case of rain) invites you to swim and splash around until the end of September. You can also take a small swimming trip and visit the nearby Lauchsee (moor lake). The Lauchsee is known for its warm, iron-rich water, which is beneficial for the skin. The surrounding lawns offer plenty of space to relax and sunbathe, while the children have fun on the playgrounds and in the water.
Not only is the Lauchsee close to our holiday village Wallenburg, but you can also swim wonderfully in the Pillersee. A crystal-clear lake that is fed by natural springs. This idyllic lake is ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, rowing, and fishing. Around the lake, there are numerous picnic spots and hiking trails, making it a perfect destination for a family outing.
And if you are planning a day trip with swimming: within reach are the Königssee near Berchtesgaden, the Salzburg lake district with Wallersee, Obertrumer See, Mattsee and Grabensee, or the Salzburg/Upper Austrian lake region with Mondsee, Wolfgangsee, Fuschlsee, Altausseersee, Grundlsee, etc. And the Chiemsee, the “Bavarian Sea,” can also be reached by car in just 2 hours.
