Welcome to Feriendorf Wallenburg, a unique holiday park nestled in the stunning surroundings of the Austrian Alps. What began as a dream of the Dutch couple Ellen and Remko has flourished into a thriving family business that has been welcoming guests for over 20 years in the picturesque mountains of Tyrol.

In 2005, Ellen and Remko sold their share in a holiday park in the Netherlands and decided to pursue their dream by purchasing land in Austria. Here, they created Feriendorf Wallenburg, where they could combine their passion for hospitality with their love for the country they enjoy living in.

At the inception of the holiday park, there was a small Stube where Ellen and Remko welcomed their guests with snacks and drinks. Over time, their son Bram also decided to move to Austria, and the Stube transformed into the cozy restaurant called Restaurant Capanna. Since 2009, Bram and his partner Joyce have been running this restaurant, where guests can enjoy delicious dishes with a touch of Italian influence.

In 2022, their other son, Geert, joined the business, and together with his younger brother Tijs, they now lead Feriendorf Wallenburg. Despite the changes, Ellen and Remko remain actively involved in the holiday park, always ready to personally engage with the guests.

What once began as a modest holiday village has evolved into a beautiful holiday park where people of all ages can enjoy the Austrian nature and culture. At Feriendorf Wallenburg, we strive to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience, infused with warmth, hospitality, and genuine family spirit.
